Visit winning.com →How a seat is priced
Defending is cheap. Taking is not.
Seats are ordered by bid: the higher you sit, the earlier you are seen. If you already hold a seat, moving up costs only the difference — a minimum of one dollar. If you want someone else's seat, you pay the full price of the position above it.
- Hold a seat at $3,500 and want $3,600? You add $100, not $3,600.
- Want the seat someone else holds at $3,600? You bid $3,605 — and their next raise is again only the difference.
- Because defending costs cents and taking costs dollars, the top of the board only ever travels one way.
